Why Godly Love?

Godly Love

hosts outreach and evangelistic events, family gatherings, open Bible studies and attends social/recreational events together.

Godly Love

Godly Love believes that being known, loved, and held accountable in Christian community produces the Church Christ is returning for.

Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.

Colossians 4:15

The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla[a] greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.

1 Corinthians 16:19

Our Vision

A global network of elder-led, home-based churches that glorify God by practicing faith in Christ through communion and deep fellowship, teaching and discipleship, breaking bread, prayer, worship, and good works.

Glorify God. Proclaim the Gospel. Nurture Believers.

Godly Love Christian Fellowship (GLCF) exists to glorify God and serve the body of Christ through unashamedly proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by building and nurturing a community of believers through evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and prayer.

Our Mission

Why House Church?

Today’s churches reflect a diverse spectrum in faith traditions, scriptural adherence, and stances on political and social issues, much like the varied options of streaming channels. The average church size in America shrank from 70 people in 2000 to 47 people in 2020, while the percentage of those lacking religious affiliation rose from 8% between 2010-2013 to 21% from 2017-2020.

This trend is coupled with lower attendance among younger adults and a growing shift towards megachurches, which attract attendees seeking peers, complex family support, consistency, socialization and the ability to join multiple ministries.

Despite fewer conversions to Christianity and a lack of clarity on biblical teachings, and what God expects, people are still gravitating to megachurches to meet their family, outreach and socialization needs.

What Godly Love seeks to do is cultivate deep discipleship through intentional fellowship in a house church setting. Here, there is a more intimate fellowship where people can encourage, grieve, spur one another to good works, confess, exhort, study with, and restore one another.

You're a house church, so why do you want a building?

Our vision is to build a global network of house churches.

With that said, we also want access to a common meeting space for local churches in our network for baptisms, community outreach, broadcasts, and communal events.

We want the same to be the case for affiliated home churches in other locations as the vision expands.

Get immersed and learn to cultivate daily Gospel practices based on a thriving relationship with The Mighty Lord Jesus Christ!
